ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who have passed the Bachelor examination in Science, Arts & Commerce with minimum 50 % from any recognised University of India or an equivalent Degree from any foreign/Indian University/Board recognised by the L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga will be eligible for applying for admission to the B.Ed, course.
However for admission to the M.Ed, the candidates must also have passed the B.Ed, examination from any recognised University with minimum 55 % marks or its equivalent.
For elementary Teachers' Training course, the candidate who has passed the senior secondary examination with minimum 50 % marks from any recognised Board/University of India or an equivalent course is eligible to apply for admission.
HOW TO APPLY
a) Application for admission should be made on the prescribed form, which can be obtained, from the college office on payment of prescribed fee.
b) Application received after the closing date or incomplete in any respect will be rejected.
ENCLOSURE WITH THE APPLICATION.
a) Attested copy of the certificate of matriculation or S.S. Examination showing the date of birth of the candidate.
b) Attested copy of all mark sheets.
c) Attested copy of (C.L.C./D.L.C. ) and attested copy of other activities, accomplishment, if any.
REQUIREMENT
a) Original C.L.C./D.L.C. and other original certificates and degree can be produced at the time of admission for verification/submission.
b) Five copies of recent passport-size colour photograph of the candidate and five self addressed envelopes with stamp of Rs. 27/- in two and Rs. 5/- in three are to be produced at the time of admission.
c) Admission charges as prescribed in the prospectus.
OTHER INFORMATION
Admission of any candidate is provisional and may be cancelled if any discrepancy is detected in the paper/document submitted or the candidate fails to comply with the rules, regulations and other conditions laid down by the college in the Bye-laws as well as prospectus of the college.
Admission even after confirmation may be cancelled in case the students not showing satisfactory progress in their studies as well as on the ground of conduct in and out of the college.
In case a candidate fails to report on the due day with the required documents and fee for admission, he will forfeit his/her claim for admission and seat fall ing vacant will be allotted to other candidate in the waiting list.
Special facilities for poor and deserving trainees will be made available to the extent possible.
Seats are especially available for girls, SC/ST, BC, widow, Ex-serviceman and Handicapped candidates.
Rules of eligibility are followed strictly. The college however reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.
A few seats are available "on payment seats".
All students admitted to the college shall have to sign a form containing the code of conduct which will be furnished to them by the office. Any violation of the code will justify their expulsion from the college.
In case of any dispute with the College/Management the District court at Darbhanga only shall have jurisdiction. |
